With that said, the Essex Day Festival Board of Directors must adhere to government guidelines and safety precautions related to COVID-19.

COVID-19: In the event that the Festival is canceled due to government enacted COVID-19 safety precautions, you will receive a full refund.
The New Essex Day Festival Association, Inc. is dedicated to the success of this event and we are working to make your entire experience with us fun and profitable.

OR – Mail a check or money order with your application.

Please note: Any applications received after August 14 are subject to a $20 late fee, pending availability. The committee MUST approve your application, and just because you put in an application DOES NOT mean you’re approved to be a vendor at Essex Day. You will receive an email denoting your status within approximately 15 days after we receive your application.

We are excited to announce the Essex Day Festival Car Show! We will have trophies for the following categories:
*Most Modified Vehicle
*Most Original Vehicle
*1st Place Overall
*2nd Place Overall
*Best Engine Bay
Car entry is $15. Cars, Trucks, Jeeps and motorcycles are all welcome!!! Vehicles can begin to arrive as early as 9:30 am on Essex Day, 9/21. We will start registering cars at 10:00 am. There will be dash plaques for the first 75 participating vehicles.
Judging for this event will be done by having spectators pick up a judging sheet at the registration table on their way into the car show area, each person fills out their name on top of the sheet and can only vote once! On the sheet you will find the categories listed above, please write the vehicle number you have selected for each category as your favorite choice.
We are doing crowd choice judging for this show instead of randomly selected judges to allow the people of Essex and surrounding areas to become a part of the event. We are expecting huge turnouts of spectators so this should make for some very interesting, exciting judging!
The car show will be held next to the Mace / Eastern intersection.
