    TERMS AND CONDITIONS

    I agree to hold harmless and indemnify The New Essex Day Festival Association, Inc., Kenwood High School (Baltimore County Public Schools), Baltimore County, and/or its sponsors from any loss of property, and/or personal injury suffered during our participation in the festival. I agree to accept and abide by all the rules set forth by The New Essex Day Festival Association, Inc. both in this contract and the attached list of terms and conditions.

    I know that running a road race is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run unless I am medically able to do so and properly trained. I assume all risks associated with running in this event including, but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, traffic, and course conditions, and waive any and all claims which I might have based on any of those and other risks typical found in running a road race. I acknowledge all such risks are known and understood by me. I agree to abide by all decisions of any race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I certify as a material condition to my being permitted to enter this race that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained for the completion of this event and that a licensed Medical Doctor has verified my physical condition.

    By submitting this entry, I acknowledge (or a parent or adult guardian for all children under 18 years) having read and agreed to the above release and waiver.

    Further, I grant permission to all the foregoing to use my name, voice and images of myself in any photographs, motion pictures, results, publications or any other print, videographic or electronic recording of this event for legitimate purposes.

    Refund Policy. I acknowledge that my entry fee is non-refundable, including if the race is cancelled, and my entry is non-transferable.

    RACE INFO

    Course length is approximately 2.1 miles, length is not certified.

    Race will start and end at Kenwood High School.

    Parking is available on site, Kenwood High School 501 Stemmers Run Road, 21221.

    Race will start at 7:00pm.

    Arrival time is 6:00am for packet pickup.

    Race is time limited, course is open until 9:00am.

    This is an untimed fun run. A clock will be at the finish line for your reference, but official times will not be recorded.

    Race will be held rain or shine.

    Any participant under 18 must be registered with a parent or legal guardian, who must also be registered for the event and present on race day. The parent or legal guardian assumes full responsibility for the minor’s safety and participation.

    Due to safety concerns we are asking to leave your favorite four-legged friends at home. Dogs will not be allowed in the race or at the finish line area.

    For the safety of all participants, strollers MUST start in the back of the corral.
